What's your favorite card game?
I realize it's not so much a card game as it is a drinking game, but I'm going to have to say Kings :P
If you could eat only 3 foods for the rest of your life, what would they be?
Submitted by formance.
This one's a no-brainer!
1. Cookies (super soft, uncooked in the middle if at all possible)
2. Cheeseburgers (rare)
3. Plain cheese quesedillas (the greasier and meltier the cheese, the better)
How often are you wrong? Do you find it difficult to admit it when you are?
Submitted by emily ann.
Honestly, I'm rarely wrong. I try not to make any bold assertions unless I'm pretty sure I'm justified. And even then, I try to give myself some "wiggle room." Just in case!
As for admitting when I am wrong.... well, it depends on the circumstances. Generally, I'm the first to point out my mistake. But there are certain people (they know who they are) to whom I will never admit to being wrong; those people just get another argument about how I wasn't really wrong, and/or they'll get some excuse about why it wasn't my fault that I was mistaken.
What do you enjoy most about summer?
Submitted by Alex.
Hanging out in/at the pool. Swimming some laps, then laying around under the sun (preferably while reading) until I dry off, and then heading back in the pool to swim more laps...
What time is your alarm clock set for? Do you use the snooze button?
I actually don't have an alarm clock so I use my cell. I re-set it every night depending on what I need to do the next morning. It doesn't have a snooze button, but I'm usually pretty good at getting up ten minutes or so after the alarm goes off.
After all the recent season and series finales, what are you watching on TV these days?

What are your top 5 CDs/albums of 2006?
Submitted by eliz. s.
Honestly, I probably couldn't even name 5 CDs/albums from this year!!! And I'm pretty sure I haven't listened to an entire album all year! I just don't have that kind of patience; I figure if it's good, they'll play it on the radio, and maybe I'll hear it. I'm guess I'm not really that into modern music. At all.
A Book Review by abcdefg81:
Um, this wasn't the cover on the edition I read, but whatever.
Since I know one of my two loyal readers owns, and is probably planning on reading, this book, I won't spoil anything.
Overall, pretty good. Got you kind of down and depressed at times, with all the references to porn and how the whole world revolves around sex. Which you know all too well when you're female and in your 20s, particularly if you've ever lived in LA.
Other than that, a pretty good read. It's basically about a girl in her mid-twenties, who graduated from a prestigious college back east, and can't get a "REAL" job. She's pretty stressed about what she's going to do with her career and how she's gonna get started. Of course, I can totally relate to that, and it was that basic storyline that got me to check the book out.
Like The Nanny Diaries, also written by the authors, the book got kinda whiny at times, and as I mentioned, kinda got my spirits down. And I don't think I laughed once reading this book. But, it was definitely entertaining enough!
MY RATING: Three Stars
